Soft sheep and goat milk cheese that matures in brine for at least two months before packaging. Feta has a characteristic rich and smooth aroma and a pleasant soft and sour taste. Since 1994, feta cheese is a protected designation of origin (PDO) product. That means, true feta can be produced only according to the traditional recipe within limited geographic areas in Greece.
Sheep milk – 90%
Goat milk – 10%
